Inpaktuday 2024: connecting young talent with MONDRAGON cooperatives

In its third edition, the 2024 MONDRAGON TFG-TFM Sariak Awards have reached a record participation of 305 individuals from 57 national and international universities. Among them, 52 finalists from 17 universities will compete for 12 awards at Inpaktuday, an event scheduled for November 28 in Soraluce (Bergara).

This year’s edition of the 2024 MONDRAGON TFG-TFM Sariak Awards has brought together 57 universities, including international institutions from Brazil, the United States, Norway, and Sweden, alongside a notable representation from the Basque Country. This balance between local and external proposals establishes the awards as a national benchmark in innovation and transformation, fostering the exchange of ideas with global impact.

A diverse and expert jury

A jury made up of 57 professionals from cooperatives, technology centers, companies, regional agencies, and universities will evaluate the finalists’ projects, focusing on their ability to address challenges from an innovative, sustainable, and people-oriented perspective.

More than just an awards ceremony

The MONDRAGON TFG-TFM Awards 2024 will not be a conventional awards ceremony but rather a unique opportunity for networking and learning. This year introduces InpaktuDay, a transformative experience designed to connect young talent with the cooperatives within the MONDRAGON ecosystem.

• From the Danobatgroup prize for digital change: Iker Usabiaga, Director of Human Resources at DanobatGroup, and Elena Urkia, Researcher in the ICT and Automation Department at IK4-IDEKO.

• From the MONDRAGON prize for Transformation based on people: Iñigo Larrea, Head of Talent Management at MONDRAGON Corporation and Marta Carazo, Director of Social Management at Eroski S.

• From the Fagor Taldea prize for energy-climate change: Aritz Otxandio, Head of Sustainability and Communication at FAGOR, Iker Akizu, Director of Engineering LPD at FAGOR EDERLAN S. Coop. and Alaitz González, Functional Analyst at FAGOR.

• From the Orbea prize for healthy, sustainable mobility: Olaia Otero, People Area Technician at ORBEA and Kepa Otxoa, Innovation Engineer at ORBEA.

• From the Laboral Kutxa prize for changing finance to change society: Endika Palacio, Director of Talent Management with LABORAL Kutxa, Oscar Serradilla, Technician of quantitative models in treasury and financial markets at LABORAL Kutxa, Edurne Uribe, Control Technician Market Risk at LABORAL Kutxa and Ane Bellota, Analytics Technician at LABORAL Kutxa.

• From the IKERLAN prize for the most innovative work : Unai Viscarret, People Director at Ikerlan, Mikel Fernández, Talent Attraction and Selection Technician at Ikerlan, and Ane Blázquez, Researcher in the area of Artificial Intelligence.

• From the EIKA prize for the best work in Basque: Iñigo Arrieta, Purchasing Manager and President of the Governing Council of Eika, and Egoitz Arteaga, Electronics Business Director and Basque Coordinator at Eika.
