Fagor Taldea’s commitment to energy and climate transformation

As part of the MONDRAGON Sariak 2025 TFG-TFM Awards, we hosted a new live session focused on one of today’s most pressing challenges: sustainability and the energy-climate transition.

The session featured Aritz Otxandiano, Sustainability and Communication Coordinator at Fagor Taldea, who shared insights into the innovative projects the cooperative group is driving to reduce its environmental impact, adapt to the changing energy landscape, and contribute to a more sustainable industrial future.

The conversation also touched on the professional profiles Fagor Taldea is looking to attract: individuals who are committed, forward-thinking, and environmentally conscious, with the ability to lead change through cooperation and innovation.

One of the highlights of the session was the introduction of the Fagor Taldea Award for Energy and Climate Transformation, one of the special distinctions within the MONDRAGON Sariak 2025, recognising outstanding Bachelor’s or Master’s theses that offer innovative solutions in this field.
