Call for applications now open for the TFG–TFM MONDRAGON 2026 Awards

Applications are now open for the TFG–TFM MONDRAGON Sariak 2026 Awards. This initiative, promoted by Shaking HUB together with the cooperatives and organisations of the MONDRAGON group, aims to recognise the best Bachelor’s and Master’s Final Projects (TFG and TFM) that provide solutions to the challenges of the 21st century, based on innovation, sustainability and a people-centred approach.

A boost to young talent and university–business collaboration

The TFG–TFM MONDRAGON Sariak Awards are a platform to highlight the work of undergraduate and postgraduate students who, through their academic projects, connect with real and relevant challenges faced by society and organisations.

This call underlines the importance of collaboration between universities and the business sector, promoting projects that not only demonstrate academic rigour but also generate impact in productive and social environments.

Who can take part?

The call is open to adults who have presented their TFG or TFM at a university between 1 October 2025 and 30 September 2026. To be eligible, projects must have obtained a minimum grade of 8 out of 10, or an equivalent qualification, and must be aligned with one of the thematic areas established in the competition categories.

What is recognised and how the call is structured

The awards are organised into five main categories, each linked to strategic areas of transformation:

In addition, three special awards will also be granted:

In total, the call distributes 12 awards across the main categories (with a first prize of €2,500 and a second prize of €1,250 per category), plus three additional awards of €2,500 each for the special recognitions.

How and until when to apply

Interested candidates can submit their projects through the form available on the Shaking HUB website, where they will also find the full rules, categories and all the information needed to prepare their application. The deadline to submit TFG and TFM projects is 30 September 2026.

The value of participating

Taking part in the TFG–TFM MONDRAGON Sariak Awards is an opportunity for emerging talent to give visibility to their ideas, build connections with companies and institutions within the MONDRAGON ecosystem, and strengthen their academic and professional careers. The real impact of projects awarded in previous editions highlights the value of this initiative as a bridge between universities and the productive sector.

From Shaking HUB, we encourage students, universities and all those interested in the development of young talent to find out more, take part and submit their projects.
