Q&A TFG TFM MONDRAGON SARIAK AWARDS
The intellectual property of the work remains with its authors and with the organizations with which they have agreed as such. MONDRAGON S. Coop. will not publicize the content of the works or any part of them. Only if your work is selected as a finalist will we publicize the title and authors of the work, the name of the university where it was submitted, and the basic information about the work that you yourself provide for the Awards Ceremony.
If your work is subject to confidentiality, you will need approval from the organization with which you have that agreement. Normally, these organizations do not object to you submitting the work, quite the opposite, but you must inform them and obtain their approval. Our recommendation is as follows:
-
Contact the organization with which you have the confidentiality clause and request written permission to submit the work.
-
You may propose “anonymizing” the work and the information you provide in the registration form; that is, replacing the real name of the organization with “ORGANIZATION X” and even removing any information they consider sensitive.
-
Explain that the work will not be made public, that information about the works will only be accessible to the members of the jury of the category you apply to, and that all of them are subject to a confidentiality agreement.
-
Only if the organization with which you have the confidentiality clause gives you permission should you apply for the awards. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information you share when registering for the awards can be shared.
-
If you are awarded a prize, confirm with the organization the information you will share for the awards ceremony.
In that case, include the details of all the authors of the work in the registration form. Any recognition of the work will reflect all of its authors.
There is no issue on our side, you may apply. The TFG–TFM MONDRAGON Sariak Awards are compatible with any other award, grant, scholarship, or prior or subsequent publication.
Yes. As stated in the Awards Rules, attendance by the authors of the finalist works at the awards ceremony is mandatory and, except in cases of force majeure, failure to attend will result in the loss of the award or diploma.
