artificial intelligence, automation and robotics.
The digital transformation poses major challenges and opportunities and how we face it is key for the future of our society. At MONDRAGON, we want to contribute decisively to a digital transformation that boosts competitiveness and generates wealth and well-being, by creating alternatives and innovative solutions to speed up digital transformation.
Possible themes
Developing systems that hybridise the physical and digital worlds, allowing digital systems and devices to work together. Better connectivity between things/machines (IOT), better man-machine communications, sensors everywhere to offer us immediate, objective detection of what is happening and all the advances in software and algorithms (machine learning, artificial intelligence, etc.) to interact with things/machines to boost ability to respond and self-regulation of machine/product parameters.
As well as constant adaptation to progress in global business management solutions (ERP), new technologies are being adopted to boost productivity and, in short, competitiveness. Additive manufacturing for 3D prototyping, intralogistics incorporating automated guided vehicles, advanced data analytics driving the use of data to speed up decision-making and generate digital products/services, including the use of digital twins to predicts results based on variable data, RPA solutions to automate highly repetitive tasks, etc.
Creating new forms of client relations to give us greater proximity and new services/experiences with higher added value: improved person-machine/service interfaces, remote support, service platform, etc. And all this leads us to develop new business models such as, for example, pay per use.
In response to new needs that arise such as cybersecurity, making personnel aware of the risks and establishing systems to minimise them, and developing digital culture at all levels.
