LEARTIKER

Leartiker (www.leartiker.com) is a Technology Center located in MARKINA-XEMEIN (Bizkaia), specialized in Food Technology and Polymer Technology and our mission is to add value to the business fabric through our R&D&I activity and its adequate transfer. We belong to the Basque Network of Science, Technology and Innovation (RVCTI) and the Basque Research & Technology Alliance (BRTA) (www.brta.eus) and we are a non-profit cooperative part of the MONDRAGON corporation, the first business group. Basque and the largest cooperative in the world (mondragon-corporation.com).

We develop our research and transfer activity in four large technological specializations divided into two main technologies:

In the area ofFood Technology, Leartiker develops the specializations ofDairy, aimed at the development of new cheeses and dairy derivatives, (promoting the diversification and competitiveness of small and medium-sized producers) and Food Design, that from idea to market develops new healthy and sustainable products from raw materials of plant or animal origin.

In Polymer Technology, it has the technological specializations of Health, which aims to develop new biocompatible polymeric materials for use in medical devices and Sustainable Transportation, in which we develop light, reliable and silent polymeric structures and the prediction of their behavior through digitization techniques.
