Xabier Zurutuza Lasa

As a researcher at Lortek, I specialise in industrial digitalisation, with particular focus on computer vision. My work focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence algorithms, specifically Deep Learning, to analyse images obtained from manufacturing processes and extract features to optimise or improve processes.

My experience covers the entire Deep Learning algorithm creation chain. It starts with design, using cutting-edge tools such as Tensorflow, followed by training these algorithms so that they can learn and improve over time. Finally, I compile these algorithms to perform inference on CPU or GPU, ensuring a fast interpretation of/response to the input data.

I have also worked with Nvidia Jetson systems, using the TensorRT libraries to speed up the inference processes. This experience has given me an in-depth understanding of how to optimise these algorithms for peak performance.

In short, my work at Lortek involves using advanced Artificial Intelligence techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
