23.750€ in prizes for the best bachelor’s or master’s degree final projects that contribute to the challenges of the 21st century.
The world is accelerating, and we are facing complex and profound challenges in which our society’s future is at stake. At MONDRAGON we want to promote this transformation to be innovative, sustainable and people-based. To do this, we need the contribution of young talent. That is why we want to reward the TFG or TFM that face the challenges of our time.
The awards have five thematic categories.
To register, click on the category in which your work makes the biggest contribution.
You can only submit your work to one category!
Two extra awards
We also want to reward the most innovative works and those written in Basque. That is why IKERLAN is offering the prize for the most innovative work and EIKA the prize for the best work in Basque. You don’t have to do anything to apply for these two extra prizes, all you have to do is register for one of the 5 thematic categories. If your work is innovative or written in Basque, we’ll find you!
At Ikerlan we believe that technology is an attitude. We want to reward projects that, based on this innovative attitude and using disruptive technologies, propose entrepreneurial solutions with an impact on society.
Within the framework of the transformation, we want to contribute to the objective of extending the Basque language to the scientific sphere of society, rewarding the contribution to the normalization of the Basque language and the promotion of scientific content in Basque.

MONDRAGON dissertation Sariak Q&A
The intellectual property rights to the work continue to belong to its authors and the organisations with whom they have so agreed. MONDRAGON S. Coop. will not publish the content of the work either in whole or in part. Only in the event that your dissertation is a finalist, we will publish the title, authors of the work, name of the university at which it was submitted and the basic information about the work with which you supply us for the prize-giving event.
If your work is subject to confidentiality you will need the approval of the organisation with which you have this agreement. These organisations do not normally pose any obstacles to you entering the work, on the contrary; but you will have to inform them and get their approval. We recommend the following:
- Contact the organisation with which you have the confidentiality clause and apply in writing for permission to enter the dissertation.
- You can “anonymise” the work and the information you supply in the entry form, i.e. change the organisation’s actual name for “ORGANISATION X” and even remove any information you consider sensitive.
- Tell them that the work is not to be made public, that the information therein will only be accessible to members of the jury for the category which you enter, and that all of them are subject to an undertaking of confidentiality.
- Only enter for the prizes if the organisation with which you have the confidentiality clause gives you permission. You are responsible for making sure the information you supply when entering for the awards can be shared.
- If you win a prize, confirm the information you are to share for the prize-giving with the organisation.
In this case include the details of all the authors of the work in the entry form. Any recognition of the work will reflect on all the authors thereof.
There is no problem for us: you can enter. The MONDRAGON dissertation Sariak prizes are compatible with any other prize, scholarship, subsidy or publication, whether previous or subsequent.
Yes. As pointed out in the rules for the prizes, it is obligatory for the authors of the finalist dissertations to attend the prize-giving ceremony and, except in cases of force majeure, failure to attend will mean forfeiting the prize or the diploma.
